The PARKAPELLAS

MPHS Chorus department supports the student-led club of a cappella singers. The Parkapellas will consist of girl and boy singers. They will audition for a spot in the group.  Auditions typically take place in September, but please reach out to Ms. Lathan for any late auditions.

A cappella singing is without instruments. Parkapellas will work with the Choral Director to strengthen their voices and craft. The students work on harmonizing and exploring their ranges to create a fuller sound, focusing just on vocal technique.

Singers auditioning for the Parkapellas do NOT need to be enrolled in a chorus class and do NOT need any prior singing experience.
